Update to 24 September Art & Antiques Squad

On 24 September the Art & Antiques Squad were informed that a large quantity of medals were stolen, full details of these are still being collated. Below are details of a small section of the medals. Medal of the Order of the British Empire to 10456 Wkr J J Dippie WAAC / QMAAC military in box of issue with extensive original documentation & 2 original photographs. LG 23/1/1920

Medal of the Order of the British Empire to Robert Burton in case of issue with sons medals LG 6/7/1920 as Fireman LFB for conspicuous courage in rescuing persons from buildings wrecked by hostile aircraft.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Bronze Award for Animal Life Saving (Inspector T.J. Nolan 1968), with For Humanity top brooch bar, extremely fine, in Marples and Beasley, Birmingham case of issue
